I have personally read each one of these books at least three times! Douglas Adams has created a, get this, Five book Trilogy, that has spawned radio as well as television shows, and a massive cult following of loyal readers.

If you're not hooked within the first 30 or so pages of the first book (the earth is destroyed by then) then you simply have no sense of humour!

The Dirk Gently books (below the first set) are every bit as sharp, and witty as you would come to expect from Douglas Adams. If you've only read the Hitchhiker's series, then you're in for a treat with these!

I Highly recommend every one of these books to anyone who enjoys laughing, and can read.
